So it is spring. The weather is warming up for some of us, who are lucky. That means it is time for baseball. Braves Baseball is my favorite. Although I live in the Washington Nationals market, I grew up watching the Atlanta Braves on TBS. During those impressionable times of my life the Braves were no power house. As I grew older, and joined the Navy, its not just a job, its an adventure, the Braves got better. Much Better. My adventure consisted of missing most of the games. They even won a World Series.
So I did a little research on my favorite team for this post. I learned a couple of cool facts that I would like to share. The "Braves" have been in three different cities. With different names at times. They were the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves and the Atlanta Braves. They are the only team to have won a world series in three different cities. They are one of the two remaining charter member clubs of the National League, the Cubs being the other.
This information was provided by wikipedia and I hope you enjoy these little facts.
Go Braves!

I had a roommate long ago from Atlanta who was a Braves fan...and she always sang the National Anthem, "...home of the Braves..." You reminded me of her today. thanks!
Fun post. There's nothing like going to a baseball game on a warm summer night. Makes me smile just to think about it.
Boo! Milwaukee should still have the Braves. Then again, that happened before I was born, so I take back my Boo!
